A Resource For My Fellow Entrepreneurs (No Gatekeeping Here)

One thing I’ve learned on my entrepreneurial journey is that information can change everything.

The right resource…
The right mentor…
The right opportunity…

Sometimes that one thing can completely shift the trajectory of your business.

So when I come across something that could help other entrepreneurs, I believe in sharing it. No gatekeeping over here.

Building a business is already challenging enough. If we can help each other along the way, we all move forward together.

Recently, I came across a program from Goldman Sachs that I wanted to share with anyone in my community who might benefit from it.

The Goldman Sachs “Black in Business” Program

Goldman Sachs offers a free business education program called Black in Business, which is part of their broader One Million Black Women initiative designed to expand economic opportunity and support entrepreneurship.

The program is designed to help entrepreneurs strengthen and grow their businesses through practical education and mentorship.

Here are a few highlights:

  • A 12-week online business education program

  • Curriculum developed in partnership with NYU Stern School of Business

  • Lessons on marketing, operations, pricing, financial planning, and access to capital

  • Strategic advisors and a network of entrepreneurs

  • An opportunity for in-person learning at Goldman Sachs headquarters in New York (expenses paid)

The goal of the program is simple: help entrepreneurs turn potential into real business growth.

And according to alumni surveys, many graduates report increasing their revenues and feeling more prepared to scale their businesses.

Why I’m Sharing This

As entrepreneurs, especially small business owners, we often feel like we have to figure everything out on our own.

But the truth is:

The most successful entrepreneurs are constantly learning.

Courses, mentorship, networking, and access to new ideas can make a huge difference.

I know many of you in my community are:

  • Building small businesses

  • Running side hustles

  • Launching new ideas

  • Trying to scale something you’ve already started

If that’s you, programs like this can offer valuable perspective and support.

Entrepreneurship Is Better When We Share

I’ve never believed in keeping opportunities to myself.

If I learn about a grant, a program, a market, or something that could help another entrepreneur grow — I’m going to share it.

Because when one of us wins, it opens the door for more of us to win.

Entrepreneurship can feel lonely sometimes, but it doesn’t have to be.

There is room for collaboration.
There is room for community.
And there is room for all of us to build something meaningful.

We’re building together.
