It’s a lot of new people here, so if this is your first time visiting—welcome to Noir Candle Collection. 🖤
I’m Mia—the founder, maker, and storyteller behind every candle you see here. If you’ve been following along since my first post, you already know how Noir Candle Collection began: in my kitchen, with a few supplies, a lot of heart, and a deep desire to rebuild after quitting my corporate job in 2023.
But since then… so much has changed.
From Idea to Intention
When I first started pouring candles, I thought I was just making something that smelled good. But with time, I realized each candle was also telling a piece of my story—moments that shaped me, inspired me, and reminded me who I am.
There was a time I felt like the Rich Auntie—confident, grounded, and deserving of luxury.
There were days I felt overstimulated, craving silence and stillness—so I created Quiet Please.
And on vacation, sipping piña coladas by the ocean, I was fully in my Do Not Disturb era.
Even my daydreams made their way into wax. I’ve never been to the Maldives or Seychelles (yet), but I can close my eyes, light those candles, and feel like I’m there.
Growth & Gratitude
Noir has grown far beyond my kitchen table.
From pop-up markets across the Triangle to collaborating with other small businesses, every connection has taught me something about resilience, creativity, and community.
Each year brings new collections, new customers, and new lessons—but my “why” remains the same: to create moments of calm, confidence, and connection through scent.
What Noir Represents Now
Noir isn’t just a candle brand anymore—it’s a reflection of life’s many moods.
The soft, the bold, the healing, and everything in between.
Every candle you light holds energy, emotion, and intention. It’s a reminder to pause, breathe, and celebrate where you are—because that’s where the story begins.
Your Turn
Connect with me on one of my socials and drop your favorite Noir candle in the comments—I’d love to hear which one tells your story.
And if you’re new here, welcome to the journey. We’re just getting started.
