A Warm Welcome 🖤 Welcome to the Noir Candle Collection.

I’m Mia, the founder and creative mind behind Noir Candle Collection. I launched this business in January 2022 during a tough but pivotal chapter as a mortgage loan officer. After 4.5 years of giving a job everything I had, they let me go. I told myself then: “I never want to feel this powerless again.” So, I bet on myself. I took everything I’d learned from working in Corporate America and with Entrepreneurs — including my mom, who’s run her own business since the bag phone & pager days — and started building something of my own.

Why candles?
During the pandemic, my partner and I were always burning candles — but we never thought twice about the ingredients. Once I started doing the research, I got hooked. I ordered a candle-making kit, watched hours of YouTube, and began hand-pouring candles in my kitchen, 3 or 4 at a time. I gave them to family and friends — they loved them. That was the spark. ✨

I wanted to create something eco-conscious, luxe, minimal, and beautifully packaged — a candle that feels like a treat for you and your space. Think clean scents, sustainable materials, and packaging worthy of an unboxing video.

In 2023, I quit my job and went all in. My first pop-up was A&T’s Homecoming — I sold out. Since then, I’ve been hitting the market circuit hard.
